The announcement comes a day after the close of the summer transfer window
Kurt Zouma has joined Everton on a season-long loan deal, the Premier League club has confirmed.
The Frenchman, whose parent club is Chelsea, is the Toffees’ seventh signing of the summer transfer window following Brazil midfielder Bernard, Barcelona trio Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes and Lucas Digne as well as ex- Watford star Richarlison and Joao Virginia at Goodison Park.
The Toffees filed a deal sheet for the last-minute transfer prior to yesterday’s 5pm deadline and so are allowed extra time to dot the ‘i’s and cross the ‘t’s.
Zouma, 23, moved to Chelsea in 2014 and won the League Cup with the club in 2015.
He will wear the no.5 shirt for Everton.
