Real Madrid are reportedly set to make a fresh move for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
Los Blancos have been linked with the Blues star for several years and are currently on the hunt for a Galactico signing to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
Now, according to the Express, Julen Lopetegui’s side have increased their valuation from £150m to around £200m and hope to bring the Belgian to the Bernabeu.
Madrid signed Hazard’s international teammate Thibaut Courtois last week and he has publicly spoken of his desire for his new club to recruit the 27-year-old.
However, while Courtois had just one year remaining on his Chelsea contract and so was able to engineer a move to Real, Hazard’s deal at Stamford Bridge doesn’t expire until 2020.
Also, the fact that the transfer window has now closed in England means that the Maurizio Sarri would not be able to replace his star man, should he leave for Spain.
Nevertheless, this adversity seemingly does not deter Los Blancos, who are plotting a big bid regardless.
